Common external parasites are various species of fleas, ticks, and mites, while internal parasites that dogs suffer from are round, tape, heartworms and hookworms. - Carefully watch your dog if you put it on a choke chain because it could strangle your dog.

- When your dog is teething buy him a few cheap clothes so that you can avoid having your couches chewed.
- Do not leave your dog in an area with phone cords or dangling drape cords because it may strange on them.
- If you want to stop your dog from digging, put cayenne pepper in the holes.
