This small dog is covered with a double coat of long hair, having a woolly undercoat. The Shih-Tzu has a short hairy muzzle, black nose, large eyes and pendant ears. Even though they are small in size, the dogs of this breed are alert and spunky. They are dignified, careful with children and polite with people around them.
